Annemieks first student job, when she was 18, was teaching Dutch to foreigners. Next to other work, she has been teaching Dutch ever since. With growing pleasure. She worked for several language schools and had her own pricewinning language project (ZorgvoorTaal) while working for a health care organisation.
Since 2009 she is a certified teacher Dutch as a second language (Vrije universiteit van Amsterdam). She has worked 5 years for Delft University ( Delftse methode) and about 6 years for the Language Centre of the British school in the Netherlands.
At Reijketaal taaltraining now she uses of over 30 years of experience in teaching Dutch as a second language. She developed her own style inspired by both the communicative Delftse methode and the storytelling/ TPRS method.
It is very important for her to make you feel comfortable. She wants you to feel confident to use the Dutch language in your daily life without having to worry about grammatical terminology.
